About us
HollandPatentSearch was started in 2008 by Peer Froehling.
Peer is a chemical engineer with a PhD in biomedical materials science, and has over 25 years of experience in research and business development in a broad area of industrial processes and products. He is (co)author of 30 scientific publications and has filed 15 patent applications. Since a number of years he works as a patent information specialist.
HollandPatentSearch is a member of:

Patent information is stored in public databases such as Espacenet of the European Patent Office.
Commercial value-added patent databases improve the accessibility of patent documents by the use of additional indexing and classification systems. Using these databases requires specialized training and experience.
HollandPatentSearch uses Thomson Innovation, Derwent World Patent Index, Patbase, Chemical Abstracts, STN and other professional databases and sources; moreover we have access to several university libraries for searches in non-patent literature.
